That's what happens when you say stuff. (Admittedly, though, both pitches hit were left up in the zone, so it was not Kendall's fault.)

Also, writing a paper on a military officer becomes significantly more difficult to concentrate on when your pitcher is claiming he's freezing and keeps snuggling up to you in the hopes that you will do something to keep him warm.

I hear that they do not have the best track record in the world, so I am concerned about this. Additionally, the name of the series was actually translated into English - 1863_project has told me that she does not believe this was necessary and that she is still going to call it Oofuri. It's not that difficult - if my name is written as 'Abe Takaya,' that means that Abe is my last name and Takaya is my first name. See, easy. But here's part of their description:

With the help of catcher, Abe Takaya, and his teammates, maybe Ren can regain his self-confidence and lead the team to victory.

So...apparently Abe is now my first name. Wait until they have to translate the part where my mother shows up and they get confused.

(...Also, when did the exclamation point show up? <lj:music>Tajima playing Jacob's Ladder</lj:music>

I would just like to make the formal announcement that I have officially snapped.

Today, for whatever reason, I thought playing a round of the game show mode on the Bible Game was a good idea. It was set to long. I am an idiot.

That score of mine up there was from before - I didn't set it tonight. But those five cowboys in a row just did me in, and for the rest of the night the cowboy was irritatingly funny. At one point I had to play a game for him, and I just lost it. (Also, the top two high scores here are Junta and Sakaeguchi. What a surprise.)

This was funny because...well, a bunch of cowboys beat Sakaeguchi at False Idols. And for whatever reason, I have always found him losing to the cowboys at anything hilarious. (Yes, that's our ouendan leader at the bottom there.)

I just wanted to point out that Nishiura jointly owns this board. See, no Tosei Junta anywhere!

My final score. I am...sandwiched between two cowboys. And I thought that was brilliant, because I'm extremely tired. This game is not a good idea late at night. I mean it.

On Saturdays, this might even mean doing arts and crafts with small children.

I'm the oldest in my family. Arts and crafts with small children tends to be messy and annoying, and since I have a little brother I can speak from experience on that one. I doubt I'll enjoy that part of it too much unless I get to boss the kids around (because that, as anyone knows, can be incredibly fun sometimes). The rest of it just looks like it'll be normal work, which isn't bad at all...it's the kids that worry me. I just hope I don't snap and yell at them or something. I honestly wouldn't surprise myself if I did, too.

Last night, we were playing that, erm, video game that shall not be named, and we discovered at about three in the morning that one of Sakaeguchi's high scores (on Noah's Ark, I believe) had been beaten by a cowboy.

A cowboy named Scrotum.

And I thought this was hysterically funny and I really cannot explain why.

This morning, it got even worse when Mizutani decided to watch Dora the Explorer (which may or may not be an excuse for him to scream at the television in Spanish).
